-
- No, I don't think so. He did say installed, but I'm pretty sure that
- he didn't mean that he used the Installer-script. Unpacking an
- archive and copying it to a place on your system and configuring it
- (by hand) could also be meant by installing.

-
- OK, the orginal 3.2 version did have some severe problems, but not
- 3.3 (haven't "caught" one yet and I use MUI applications every day
- intensively). So you won't see the problems *you* had with 3.2.
-
- But it is known that a lot of people are copying the libraries by
- hand, which could/would cause problems, in such a way that the
- libraries cannot be found, so the user copies/moves the libraries to
- the SYS:Libs directory (wrong move; they most probably forgot to add
- a proper "Assign Libs: MUI:Libs ADD" to their Startup-files).
-
- But why wouldn't you use the Installer-script/program? Why would
- someone install MUI by hand (it is possible, but you must know what
- you're doing)?

-
- I don't know if it is the *task* of MUI to report this.... depends
- on the "caller" of the library in question. It could be the *task*
- of the application itself.
-
- But you're right; it should be more informative to the (end)user!

-
- Certainly. But the original person (hankduckman) reported that he
- had installed some MUI libraries in SYS:Libs, now that is not correct
- (so the assumption of the "poor installation" is made with pretty
- strong "evidence"; but please tell me if if I'm wrong).

-
- Some (good) bugfixes, so yes my advise would be to upgrade again.
